It’s always a good thing when you hit the ice on the last possible day of the season.
A pair of hockey teams from the Merrimack Valley Conference did just that last Sunday at TD Garden, with the Tewksbury boys falling to Canton before the Methuen/Tewksbury girls beat Archbishop Williams for the Division 1 state championship.
And across the league, there were many standout performers who made their mark around the rinks this winter.
