Below are the seeds and matchups for the MVC boys and girls soccer teams in the MIAA playoffs, which are subject to change. We will update this post with any changes that are made.
Boys Soccer
Division 1
No. 22 North Andover (14-1-3) will travel to No. 11 Saint John’s (11-4-3) in the round of 32 on a date and time to be announced.
No. 29 Andover (11-3-4) will host No. 36 Springfield Central (7-6-4) in the preliminary round on a date and time to be announced. The winner will travel to No. 4 Boston College High (11-1-6) in the round of 32.
No. 32 Chelmsford (10-5-3) will host No. 33 Brockton (7-6-3) in the preliminary round on a date and time to be announced. The winner will travel to No. 1 Cambridge Rindge & Latin (11-1-3) in the round of 32.
No. 37 Lowell (8-6-4) will travel to No. 28 St. John’s Prep (5-8-4) in the preliminary round on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. The winner will travel to No. 5 Wellesley (7-3-7) in the round of 32.
Division 2
No. 35 Billerica (7-6-3) will travel to No. 30 Chelsea (7-5-6) in the preliminary round on a date and time to be announced. The winner will travel to No. 3 Northampton (16-0-2) in the round of 32.
Division 3
No. 28 Tewksbury (12-4-2) will host No. 37 Bishop Fenwick (9-7-3) in the preliminary round on a Saturday, Nov. 7, at noon. The winner will travel to No. 5 Chicopee (12-4-2) in the round of 32.
Girls Soccer
Division 1
No. 8 Central Catholic (16-2-0) will host No. 25 Algonquin (5-7-6) in the round of 32 on a date and time to be announced.
No. 30 Chelmsford (9-5-4) will travel to No. 3 Bishop Feehan (14-0-4) in the round of 32 on a date and time to be announced.
No. 31 North Andover (7-7-4) will host No. 34 Everett (9-4-5) in the preliminary round on Friday, Nov. 6, at 4 p.m. The winner will travel to No. 2 Wellesley (14-1-3) in the round of 32.
No. 32 Andover (6-6-6) will host No. 33 Durfee (8-8-2) in the preliminary round on a date and time to be announced. The winner will travel to No. 1 Concord-Carlisle (16-2-0) in the round of 32.
Division 2
No. 27 Billerica (11-4-3) will host No. 38 Bristol-Plymouth (12-5-2) in the preliminary round on a date and time to be announced. The winner will travel to No. 6 Milton (9-7-2) in the round of 32.
Division 3
No. 10 Tewksbury (15-2-1) will host the winner of No. 23 Hudson (9-6-1)-No. 42 Chicopee (11-5-2) in the round of 32 on a date and time to be announced.
