Dracut’s Charlie Wilkie impressed for the Middies in the loss, firing an even-par 35 to win his match and qualify for the state sectional tournament. The Indians dominated elsewhere, taking points from Justin Pappalardo (34), Logan Murphy (41), Ryan Quin (39), Robby Marrigan (39), Andrew Quin (42), Jason Giordano (42) and Guy Lombardo (41).
Central Catholic 10, North Andover 10
Ben Woodford shot a round-low 32 at the challenging North Andover Country Club in the tie between two top foes in the MVC. Central got wins from Finn Rourke, Andrew Bolton, Zach Jacobson and Evan Smith.

Chelmsford 11, Tewksbury 9
In a tightly-contested match between both teams, it was Chelmsford who came out with the MVC crossover win. Individual winners for the Lions were Jacob Carlson, Jake Lessard, Andrew Monahan and Aidan Kenney, while the Redmen garnered wins from Evan Muir, Tyler Bourgea, Mikey Devlin and Nathan Wiggin. The Lions earned critical points in the four ball match, taking three of four matches. Carlson and Lessard, Robert Monahan and Andrew Monahan and Kenney and Keyo took home points to secure the win.

Lowell ruled the course in the quad meet, taking the top four spots. James Kelly (15:08.9), Tim Schribman (15:15.6), Samuel De Souza (15:16.0) and Elijah Calderon (15:21.4) led the way for the Red Raiders. Methuen’s Joe Nims wasn’t far behind, clocking a 15:22.4 for fifth.

Chelmsford 24, Haverhill 31
The North Andover trio of Brogan Zwinggi (17:22.2), Nicolas Floresquero-Llama (17:22.5) and Tucker LaRosa (17:24.6) swept the top three overall finishers to power North Andover to two victories. Chelmsford’s Will Whitley wasn’t far behind, finishing in fourth in 17:30.5.

Rose Kiley (17:48) ruled the race for Andover, but Billerica’s Sabrina Gorski (17:50) and Madelynn LaRosa (17:57) set the tone for the Indians. Tewksbury’s Maeve Burns impressed with a fourth-place finish (17:57).

The Raiders improved to 5-0 on the fall with convincing victories in the tri-meet. Kyla Breslin was the overall champion (17:02.9) and is undefeated this fall. Rounding out the top five was Lowell’s Ella Machado (17:32.8), Central’s Lila Christy (18:03.9), Central’s Calista King (18:30.3) and Central’s Olivia Scatamacchia (18:55.5).

The Lions swept the top two places, as Kate Leonard (19:51.5) and Mia McCusker (19:57.5) netted impressive times. Haverhill’s Madison Howard (20:57.4) and North Andover’s Elisa Castro (20:58.9) rounded out the top four.

Ava Nartfiff had three goals and two assists while Emily Barbosa and Chloe Cashman also connected with the back of the net as Methuen defeated Dracut, 5-0.
Andover 2, Chelmsford 1
Cora Grundy scored on a feed by Julia Salerno, and Brooke Cannata made 10 saves in net, but Andover gutted out the MVC win.
Girls Volleyball
Andover 3, Methuen 0
Billerica 3, Haverhill 0
Kendra Marino (six kills), Layla Alexis (five kills), Ryan Domina (six kills), Meghan Downs (17 assists) and Makayla Sibert (13 digs) pushed Billerica to an impressive 3-0 win by way of 25-17, 25-20, 25-21. Olivia Lesswing had 15 assists for the Hillies in the loss, while Lucy Martinez had nine kills.
Chelmsford 3, Central Catholic 1
Julie Hall had 19 kills while Sydney Faria added 15 but Chelmsford withstood the efforts of the two to beat Central Catholic, 3-1. Kyra Ward had herself a day for Chelmsford, posting 27 kills, 22 digs and three aces to power the Lions. Ellen Griswold had a whopping 44 assists while also totaling 12 digs and two aces. Bonnie Politzer (15 kills, 16 digs, three aces) was also impressive.
North Andover 3, Dracut 2
Leila Amiepouopouo had 10 kills, four blocks, and four aces while Cassidy Saindon compiled eight kills, two aces, and five digs but it was not enough for Dracut as North Andover pulled out a 3-2 win.
