Player of the Week: Addie Croteau, Central Catholic Volleyball

Central Catholic sophomore Addie Croteau has been selected as the Valley Sports Daily Female Player of the Week, presented by MTM Insurance, for September 13 through September 19.

Croteau, a setter, helped unbeaten Central earn 3-0 wins over Chelmsford and Dracut last week. She tallied 32 assists in the victory over Chelmsford and then added 22 more in the win over Dracut. Croteau has proven to be a hugely important presence for the Raiders in the early season.

The Player of the Week, presented by MTM Insurance, is selected by the Valley Sports Daily staff. One male and one female student-athlete will be selected as Players of the Week throughout the year. Nominations can be submitted throughout the week up until Saturday night at 8 p.m. There may be a poll posted on Sunday with the nominations. The results of the poll influence the selections but do not strictly dictate the decisions.
