Andover senior Vivian Moulson has been selected as the Valley Sports Daily Girls Player of the Week for Oct. 20 through Oct. 26. Moulson is the fifth student-athlete chosen as Girls Player of the Week for the 2025-26 school year, which is presented on a weekly basis.
Moulson starred at the Merrimack Valley Conference swim & dive championships on Saturday at the Beede Center in Concord, Mass. The University of Wisconsin-bound swimmer broke two meet records to lead Andover to the Division 1 team title. The senior clocked a 1:50.39 in the 200 freestyle and a 54:48 in the 100 butterfly as the Golden Warriors captured their second straight crown.
“She’s trained for this since she was little….She’s sacrificed a lot over the years for swimming, and it’s all paying off for her,” said Andover head coach Patty Barrett on Saturday after the team’s win.
The Player of the Week is selected by the Valley Sports Daily staff. Nominations can be submitted throughout the week up until Saturday night at 8:00 PM. There may be a poll posted on Sunday with the nominations. The results of the poll influence the selection but do not strictly dictate the decision.
